Annual passholders can only "hold" a few reservations at a time

Walt Disney World has announced that Annual Passholders using this system will be able to make reservations for up to 3 days at a time using the new Disney Park Pass System, unless they have a hotel reservation, in which case they can make theme park reservations for the entire length of their stay.

Because passholders may experience difficulties visiting the parks when they wish due to limited capacity (especially at first), Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be getting an additional 1 month extension beyond the extension given while the theme parks have been closed.

Alternatively, and in lieu of the one month extension, Passholders who have paid in full may choose to cancel their annual pass and receive a partial refund.

In addition, Disney has announced that Weekday Select, Theme Park Select, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Platinum Plus and Premier Passholders will have the opportunity to register for a special preview at Magic Kingdom park or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park on July 9 or 10. Email invitations with registration details will be sent out soon.

As always, while this situation is evolving, all travelers should check out the CDC's official site here, which has information on the virus and how to prevent its spread.

Hello. I'm staying off park and have tickets purchased starting for use the first week in January. The date I can access the reservation system is June 28. Is my family "competing" only with other people who already have tickets or will we be competing with new ticket purchasers? I had read elsewhere that 2021 tickets will go on sale BY June 28, which I interpret to mean that I have very little advantage over people who don't currently have tickets because they could purchase them by the time the reservation system is open to me.

Right now I'm not sure there's an advantage for guests who purchased tickets in advance vs. 2021 package holders/ticket purchasers, the system is just opening for everyone tomorrow, so you will definitely want to get in ASAP to secure a spot. Good luck!

Please can you advise how this system is going to work with the UK 7, 14 and 21 day tickets? Thank you

Hi Rachel, once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and UK guests are able to visit Walt Disney World, although there hasn't been an official announcement on this just yet, we'd assume they'll have length of stay pass reservations available. Thanks for reading and kind regards.
