If this is going to happen, expect an announcement soon
Though we have confirmation that the NBA and Disney are seriously exploring the possibility of having games at Walt Disney World, there has been no announcement made about when those could begin or continue. However, we should have a concrete answer soon as reports seem to indicate that teams are expecting the league to instruct them to start recalling players to their team's markets around June 1, which is only about a week away.
This likely means that if a deal is reached, we will likely know for sure before this Friday, May 29, 2020, if not sooner.
Though the idea of finishing the 2020 NBA season at Walt Disney World seemed a little crazy just a month ago, it looks like this idea is catching fire, and will definitely mark an interesting "first" for the resort should it come to fruition.
As always, while this situation is evolving, all travelers should check out the CDC's official site here, which has information on the virus and how to prevent its spread.
