About Me Continued

Here in the UK we are 4 weeks into this lock down, I know in the US you are 2 weeks ahead of that. It is now really hitting home the toughness of not being able to see family and friends, as well as not being able to go out. Due to being in one of the at risk categories, we have no hope of going anywhere until mid June at the earliest so we have no option other than getting our heads down and getting on with it until then. I suppose there is comfort in that, in the sense we know where we have got to get to.

We have been very lucky with the weather so far which has meant that everyday we have be able to spend a lot of time in the garden, playing tennis and football and biking. Today, however, it's raining and miserable so I feel it could be more of a challenge. Do not fear, I have a plan up my sleeve. When I was little one of my favorite Christmas presents ever was a Formula One Scalextric set, I have been waiting for a time that our boys are old enough to enjoy it without wrecking it. Our youngest is heavy handed to say the least! The time has come, I am excited, I hope they are excited and it should make the otherwise somewhat gloomy day into a bright and happy one. Here's hoping! I will let you know the outcome in Poll 11.

Poll 10 - Universal Orlando Resort: When the gates reopen, are you planning to go?

News this week, Universal Parks Considering Aggressive Reopening Measures Including Mandatory Testing, Face Masks, and More, brings a lot more questions for us all to think about and make decisions on. Are you going to be happy visiting with these measures in place? Do you think there should be temperature and COVID-19 testing? What are your views? 

Poll 9 asked the same question about Walt Disney World and I am very interested to see if the answers regarding Universal Studios are going to be the same, similar or different? We have more information about potential measures that may be put in place which may see the maybe percentage less than what is was for Walt Disney World? 

In Poll 10, we are again basing our views on the current information we have on potential procedures. So here is the question, Universal Orlando Resort: When the gates reopen are you planning to go? As with Poll 9, a simple yes, no or maybe option won't seem to give us the knowledge of the wider picture so we will keep the options the same as for poll 9 which are as follows:

1. Yes - I can't wait to go!
2. Yes - but it will depend on what measures are put into place so I feel safe.
3. No - Not until a vaccine is sorted and I know it is safe. 
4. No - I won't be able to afford it.
5. Maybe - I really can't make a decision at the moment.
