The Secret Life of Pets: Off The Leash opening this spring
And speaking of Universal Studios Hollywood, it was also confirmed that new attraction The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash will be opening this spring at the west coast park. This new attraction will take riders on a journey through New York City to reach a pet adoption event and, using facial recognition technology, actually transform guests into stray puppies in search of their forever homes.
The ride will blend live, dimensional and animated characters with hyper-realistic media and projection mapping to achieve this effect, all while guests are seated within ride vehicles that resemble cardboard boxes.
When it opens this attraction will occupy a new building on the site of the former Globe Theatre on Universal's Upper Lot, with the former Baker Street now being re-branded as "Pets Place", which will capture the charm of a busy NY street, including an iconic NYC subway station.

When the new park is completed we will see how much ticket prices go up. They’re so much cheaper than Disney that alone would make attendance go up. But it is a huge corporation and I’m sure they’ll follow suite and raise ticket prices to pay for the new additions.
