The focus will still be on thrills

Though we are definitely happy to hear that there will be some educational aspects to this upcoming attraction, the main draw for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will of course still be this new attraction's thrilling components. 

As was previously announced, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will be a first-of-its kind roller coaster that will feature a new innovation from Walt Disney Imagineering a special ride vehicle that rotates 360 degrees so guests can focus attention on the action of the ride.

And in another first for Disney, this attraction will feature a reverse launch, which is a first for a Disney coaster.

Though this new attraction has been under construction for almost two years now, Disney has confirmed that guests will have to wait a bit longer to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, as the opening target is still TBA 2021. However, hopefully we will continue to learn more about this attraction over the next year as work continues to progress rapidly on this attraction.
