6. Halloween Horror Nights 29 kicks off at Universal Studios Florida

Though Walt Disney World has been celebrating Halloween since mid-August, Universal Studios Florida debuted their annual Halloween Horror Nights event over the weekend. This year's event has an 80's theme, with houses based on properties like Stranger Things, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Ghostbusters and more! 

7. Guests flood Legoland Florida during special fundraiser for Hurricane Dorian victims

This past week Legoland Florida announced that they would be selling special $25 one-day tickets to the park this weekend with the proceeds from these tickets going towards the victims of Hurricane Dorian. However, this special deal ended up being extremely popular, with guests waiting hours on Saturday just to park, and lines looping around the front entrance to get these special discount tickets.
