Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run will still be stand-by only 

Though it looks like guests wanting to experience this full land will really need to get lucky with reservations for the different food and merchandise experiences, one thing that they won't have to plan in advance for is the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride, which will be stand-by only when this land first opens, with no FastPass+ service available. Disneyland has also implemented this system for this ride, with MaxPass not available for this attraction either, and so far, wait times have been pretty moderate on the West Coast (normally hovering just over an hour), so Disney is likely hoping for a similar result at Disney's Hollywood Studios. 

You might have to wait for reservations, especially if you want them on the same day

Like a lot of highly-anticipated launches, Disney's opening of reservations for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge hasn't exactly gone smoothly, with times "selling out" for most dates within moments of opening, and many guests reporting multiple website crashes while trying to make a reservation. But hopefully Disney is ironing out these issues and this reservation system will be glitch-free before Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge officially opens on August 29.
