7. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites now open

This week
Universal Orlando Resort officially opened its seventh hotel – Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites. This hotel is the first Value Category hotel at Universal Orlando Resort, and includes benefits including Early Park Admission to the theme parks, quick complimentary resort-wide shuttle bus transportation, charging privileges with their room key and more. The resort also features a fun surf vibe with sunny, beach-themed rooms that include two-bedroom suites that sleep six.
Surfside Inn and Suites’ sister property, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, is scheduled to open in March 2020 and will add 2,800 rooms to the destination – bringing the total room count at Universal Orlando Resort to 9,000 rooms by the end of 2020.
8. Bigfire Restaurant now open at Universal CityWalk

And speaking of Universal Orlando, new CityWalk dining establishment Bigfire is now officially open at. This all-new full-service restaurant draws inspiration from the nostalgia of cooking over open flames and the menu includes elevated American fare, including a signature bison burger, coffee, chili and cocoa rubbed top sirloin, delectable freshwater trout, mouth-watering smoked salads and more.
9. Free pin to be given out next week at SeaWorld Orlando
