Though the big news out of Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019 will be the August 29 opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, in the the meantime there are some other changes are on the horizon for this park that visitors should know about. From the end of a popular character experience to a temporary closure plus a number of dining changes, here's everything happening this summer at Disney's Hollywood Studios that guests visiting this park will definitely want to know about!
1. Star Wars: March of the First Order to come to a close after next week
According to several sources the Star Wars: March of the First Order parade will be wrapping up soon at Disney's Hollywood Studios and will have it's last day of operation on July 7, 2019. This entertainment offering has been around for several years and features Captain Phasma leading a group of First Order Stormtroopers from the Star Wars: Launch Bay to the Center Stage area of the park. Though this has not yet been confirmed by Disney, their official calendar does not list this this attraction past July 6th, and according to reliable sources, the removal of this entertainment offering is expected to be permanent.
2. Voyage of the Little Mermaid show to be unavailable for several days in July

3. Bo Peep now meeting guests for the summer at Toy Story Land
Just in time for the opening of Toy Story 4, a new character is now meeting guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios: Bo Peep! This new character will be appearing in Toy Story Land alongside series mainstays Woody, Buzz and Jessie. Bo Peep is currently meeting guests every day, but this is designed to be a limted-time experience, so if you want to meet this character, you'll definitely want to visit Toy Story Land this summer!
