3. More guests are staying on property at Walt Disney World

In addition to the increased guest levels at Walt Disney World, it was revealed that guests visiting Lake Buena Vista are also overwhelmingly choosing to stay on property at the resort, as Walt Disney World's total hotel occupancy rate went up during the most recent fiscal quarter as well. .

Interestingly, Disney again did not include its Anaheim resort in its positive report, which likely means occupancy is down on the West Coast, at least for right now. But again, with Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge mere days away, the next financial report will likely see record numbers for occupancy at Disneyland, especially since a hotel stay is basically required for those wanting to see this new land during its first days.

Though last quarter saw some good news out of Shanghai Disneyland, this quarter saw lower attendance at this resort. And though revenue from this park is essentially flat thanks to higher average ticket prices, this is still a little bit of a disappointing result, especially as guest levels are on the rise at regional neighbor Hong Kong Disneyland
