Though discounts have been scarce through the busy spring travel season, it looks like Disney is pulling out all the stops when it comes to trying to get guests to visit Walt Disney World this summer (notably before Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens in August), unleashing some huge discounts and deals that include free dining, gift cards, and passholder specials.
If you are thinking about going to a Disney park in the near future (and especially if you are planning to stay on-property), here are some easy ways you can save some money that you should definitely know about!
1. Sizzle in Summer Fun gift card offer for room-only stays this June
Disney is offering guests who visit Walt Disney World this June a Disney Gift Card at check-in, the value of which is based on Resort Category and length stay:
Disney Value Resorts: $10 per room per night
Disney Moderate Resorts: $15 per room per night
Disney Deluxe Resorts: $20 per room per night
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts: $25 per room per night
Guests who want to take advantage of this offer can book through the end of the offer period, and can be booked as a room-only offer, and interestingly, can also be combined with other room-only discounts, making this one of the best deals we've seen from Walt Disney World in a long time!
2. Free dining for Disney Visa Cardmembers
Disney Visa Cardmembers can now enjoy a free dining deal addition when they purchase a non-discounted 4-night/5-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room for 4 nights at a select Walt Disney World Resort hotel and 5-day theme park tickets with Park Hopper Option. Cardholders can book this deal through June 16, 2019 for arrivals most nights between August 1-21, 2019.
As has typically been the case for free dining deals in the past, guests staying at a Value or Moderate Resort will be able to get a free Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan with this deal, and guests who stay at Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels will get a free Standard Disney Dining Plan.
This deal must be booked before June 16, 2019, and must be paid for using a Disney Visa Credit Card.
