7 Dining Changes at Walt Disney World ALL Guests Should Be Aware Of (February 2019)

3. Beaches and Cream to close later this year for lengthy refurbishment

The Beaches and Cream restaurant at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort will be closing this August for a lengthy refurbishment, with a tentative reopening set for December 2019. During that time, there will be a temporary location at the Yacht and Beach Club Resort offering ice cream, but not the Kitchen Sink. During this closure, the interior of the restaurant will be remodeled, but the theme will remain the same.

4.Sebastian's Bistro no longer serving lunch

Though the new Sebastian’s Bistro restaurant at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort only just opened last year, this dining location will no longer serve lunch, effective this week. Dinner is now be the only meal guests can grab at this new table service restaurant, which is now only open from 5-10:00 PM. Guests at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort can still get lunch at Spyglass Grill and Centertown Market beginning at 11:30 AM, and the Banana Cabana pool bar beginning at noon.

5. Free chocolate returns to Disney Springs Ghirardelli

Free samples at the Ghirardelli Chocolate shop at Disney Springs has been a longstanding tradition at the shopping district, with guests young and old enjoying this freebie. However, last month Ghirardelli stopped offering these free chocolates to guests who stop by the retail side of this shop thanks to a corporate change, with other Ghirardelli stores around the country also ending their free sample programs. However, last week, this shop began offering free samples again! We don't know if this is a temporary or permanent change, but if you're at Disney Springs soon, stop by while you can to grab your free chocolate!
