The 7 BIG Updates from Walt Disney World (And Beyond) This Week (December 10-16)

This week at Walt Disney World, more Cast Members are stationed at the Magic Kingdom to deal with holiday crowds, hours are cut at a new restaurant, plus a new service is offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Outside Walt Disney World, some information is leaked about Universal's new park, plus SeaWorld announces dates for a festival at the beginning of 2019!

1. Hours cut at Sebastian's Bisto

Though the new Sebastian’s Bistro restaurant at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort only just opened, this dining location has adjusted its hours, now serving lunch from noon to 3:00 PM, and dinner from 5-10:00 PM. In addition, the nearby Banana Cabana now begins food service at noon as well. 

2. Kingdom Hearts III experience now open at Disney Springs

Disney Springs opened a new Kingdom Hearts III experience this week, where guests have the chance to play some of the game, see a Keyblade exhibit and check out game artwork. Visitors can also pre-order the game using kiosks set up in this space. The Disney Springs Kingdom of Hearts experience will be open through January 31 2019. 

3. Additional Cast Members being deployed at the Magic Kingdom this holiday season

A new Guest Experience Team will be on hand at the Magic Kingdom Park during the holiday season beginning this week. These Cast Members will help Guests make the most of their day by proactively assisting guests with booking, modifying and recovering FastPass+ selections, navigating the My Disney Experience app, and using MagicBands. These special Cast Members will be wearing blue shirts, and will be stationed in Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Frontierland.
