The 8 BIG Updates from Walt Disney World (And Beyond) This Week (December 3-9)

6. Universal Orlando Resort begins charging for larger lockers

Though Universal has long offered free lockers for guests to use at attractions where bags are not permitted (like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, The Hulk, The Mummy, and more), the resort recently switched to a new locker system that allows guests to scan their passes instead of using their fingerprints to unlock lockers. And though this was a welcome change for guests who couldn't quite keep their fingers still for the scanners, this new system came with a strange addition: a locker size upcharge.

Though Universal guests can still get a free locker that will hold a purse or fanny pack, guests who are carrying a diaper bag, large purse or backpack,  will now need to pay $2 to access the larger-sized locker while they are experiencing the ride.
