4. New logo for Disney's Hollywood Studios confirmed to be coming in January

Though Disney canceled plans to rename Disney's Hollywood Studios after some disasterous survey results, it looks like this park is still getting at least a partial new identity that celebrates its three decade legacy with a new logo that will debut on January 18th, 2019, the park's 30th birthday. We don't know anything about what this new logo will look like yet, but we're excited to learn more in the very near future!

5. Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away reopens at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away closed on September 29th and was not performed for nearly two months while maintenance was done on the Center Stage area of the park. However, now that the busy holiday travel season is here, this live stage show is now playing again several times a day in the middle of the park.

6. Opening date revealed for Disney's Riviera Resort

Work on the 15th Disney Vacation Club property is progressing rapidly, and now Disney has shared that Disney's Rivera Resort is projected to open in just a year in Fall 2019. As you can see in the new concept art above, the resort’s design is inspired by the European grandeur Walt Disney experienced in his travels along Europe’s Mediterranean coastline, and will feature easy access to the Disney Skyliner, which will have a station at the resort.
