Over the weekend a lot of news was released about the future of Disney parks, including some new sneak peeks inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and some additional information about the two rides that will be contained in this new land. And even though we are excited about the opening of this new land in 2019 (as well as the debut of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, which is now confirmed to be opening at the same time as Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, there are some more immediate changes coming to this park in the much nearer future...
1. New Disney Junior Show coming this holiday season

Image: Disney
Date: December 22, 2018
Disney announced earlier this year that a new show called Disney Junior Dance Party! will be coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios. This character-based show will feature plenty of familiar faces from popular TV shows like "Mickey and the Roadster Racers," "Doc McStuffins," "The Lion Guard" and Disney Junior's newest hit series "Vampirina." This new show is being billed as a musically infused, interactive concert, hosted by new characters Finn Fiesta and Deejay, who involve guests in all the fun. This new show will now open just in time for Christmas on December 22, 2018.
2. New logo for Disney's Hollywood Studios debuting in January
Date: January 18, 2019
Though Disney canceled plans to rename Disney's Hollywood Studios, it looks like this park is still getting at least a partial new identity that celebrates its three decade legacy with a new logo that will debut on January 18th, 2019, the park's 30th birthday. We don't know anything about what this new logo will look like yet, but we're excited to learn more in the very near future!
