Outside Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort puts tickets on sale for Rock the Universe 2019, plus the Blue Man Group sets an important date!

World of Disney, the world's largest Disney retail store, has been under refurbishment for over a year, but over the weekend, work on this massive store in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World was officially completed, and Disney threw a grand re-opening ceremony to celebrate. This reimagined store now features more subtle Disney decor, wider aisles, and more natural light.

2. New upcharge now available for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Guests who are attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party can now purchase an additional upcharge experience: Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party. This new add-on costs $99 per person plus tax (n addition to a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket) and begins nightly at 9:30 PM. From then until the end of the party, guests can sample small plates and desserts, drink from a selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, and enjoy reserved seating for the nightly parade.

Guests can pop in and out as many times as they like, and can enjoy dishes including a selection of artisanal meats and cheeses as well as meatballs, mini hand-tossed pizzas, boursin-stuffed artichoke, pumpkin tartlets, Yule Logs, cannoli, Christmas cookies, and red velvet cupcakes.

3. MuppetVision 3D cuts hours for the foreseeable future

WDWNT is reporting that Disney has made the decision to cut hours at MuppetVision 3D with this attraction now only open from 10am to 6pm daily. Though individual attraction hours are subject to change, this reduced operating schedule looks like it is currently planned to be in place through at least April 22nd, 2019. And unfortunately, it looks like this corner of Disney's Hollywood Studios has also gotten another cut as well...
