5 Dining Changes at Walt Disney World ALL Guests Should Be Aware Of (September 2018)

3. Rose & Crown Tea Experience Coming to Epcot this week

Beginning this week, guests visiting Epcot will be able to book a special Rose & Crown Tea Experience where they can sip on Twinings tea along with scones and sandwiches. During this special tea, guests will also get the chance to learn tea brewing tips and tricks to help them recreate their perfect cuppa at home.

This upcharge experience will be offered at 9:45 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot beginning on September 28th. The cost is $30 per person, making this one of the lowest-cost upcharge experiences we've seen in awhile. Guests can make advanced reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE, as online bookings are not yet available. Dates are available through the fall season, and if this offering proves to be popular, it will probably return after the holiday season.

4. Kringla Bakeri og Kafe reopens after lengthy refurbishment

Fan favorite Epcot snack stop Kringla Bakeri og Kafe closed back in February for a very long refurbishment during which time the inside ordering area was expanded and some kitchen upgrades were made. However, though it has been a lengthy wait, this dining location is finally open again, and guests can stop by this popular eatery for some School Bread once more!

5. Dates announced for early 2019 Epcot special events

Epcot has announced dates and changes for its first two festivals of 2019:

  • Epcot's Festival of the Arts will run again next year from January 18 to February 25th with an expanded Disney on Broadway Concert Series, which will now have performances seven days a week.
  • The 2019 Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will take place March 6 to June 3rd and will feature an expanded Garden Rocks Concert Series which will now be performed every day during the event: a total of 270 concerts over the course of the 90-day festival.
