Walt Disney World is Trying to Make Your Next Visit Even More Convenient. Here's How.

Convenience is a huge part of a Walt Disney World vacation. Guests have Mickey's Magical Express picking them up, busses to ferry you back and forth from the parks to their resort, and of course there is MyMagic+ working overtime in the background, managing all of your FastPass+ and dining reservations so you don't have to.

Clearly, a Walt Disney World vacation is already pretty convenient, but it looks like some new options have been introduced around the resort that will make a visit even more carefree for guests in the coming weeks. Though not all of these are permanent options, here are some of the new conveniences that Disney is now offering guests around Walt Disney World!

1. Online lost and found system now operational

Losing an item at Walt Disney World is an unfortunately common experience, but thankfully Disney has debuted a new online lost and found system that should make the process a little less agonizing for guests who have lost something during their vacation.

Walt Disney World Resort has partnered with Chargerback to help track lost and found items. Chargerback is the leading provider of online Lost and Found recovery for many airlines, casinos, resorts, rental car companies, cruise lines, and amusement parks.

Guests who lose an item can head to this website (operated by both Disney and Chargerback), fill out a simple form providing information about what was lost and where (as well as the date, and some other pertinent details), and can then sit back and wait for updates about their item. The Disney team will then start looking for your lost item as soon as a report is filed, and an email with progress will be sent within 48 hours.

2. New pop-up Guest Relations location now in operation at the Ticket and Transportation Center

One of the most frustrating lines to be in at Walt Disney World is Guest Relations, especially at the Magic Kingdom, which can be inconvenient for many guests who have to take a bus, monorail, or ferryboat just to get to the front of the park. However, Disney is testing out a new Disney Guest Relations location at the Transportation and Ticket Center to try and alleviate this issue.

From now through June 2nd, guests who find themselves at the Ticket and Transportation Center can visit Window 3 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM tp get assistance with the following issues:

  • My Disney Experience technical issues
  • Disney Resort bookings
  • Enrollment in Disability Access Service
  • Annual Monthly Payment Plan maintenance
  • Disney Visa Rewards Redemption
