Walt Disney World has earned a reputation not just for having the best-attended and most well-themed parks in the world, but also for hosting a number of top-quality events during the year. From massive events like Epcot International Food and Wine Festival to smaller celebrations like periodic PhotoPass day events that bring rare characters to the parks, there seems to always be something special happening at the resort. And in the past few weeks, Disney has announced some new limited-time events that you might want to check out in the near future!
1. The Grand Floridian Gala one-night only event to be held this summer
The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, is one of the most iconic hotels in all of Walt Disney World and to celebrate this flagship resort's 30th anniversary, Disney will be hosting a Grand Floridain Gala event this summer on June 30, 2018. The one night only event will begin at 7:00 PM and lasts until 9:30 PM, but guests can begin checking in as early as 6:30 PM.

2. Saturday Night Shine comes to Homecomin'
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is introducing a new weekly event called Saturday Night Shine. Every Saturday night, beginning April 7th, guests at this restaurant will be able to enjoy live music, special menu items and specialty drinks from 10:00 PM until closing. It is unknown how long this limited-time event will run, but we'd guess it will at least last through the spring, and perhaps into the summer if it proves to be popular.
