4 New Limited-Time Special Events Coming Soon to Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World has earned a reputation not just for having the best-attended and most well-themed parks in the world, but also for hosting a number of top-quality events during the year. From massive events like Epcot International Food and Wine Festival to smaller celebrations like periodic PhotoPass day events that bring rare characters to the parks, there seems to always be something special happening at the resort. And in the past few weeks, Disney has announced some new limited-time events that you might want to check out in the near future!

The one night only event will begin at 7:00 PM and lasts until 9:30 PM, but guests can begin checking in as early as 6:30 PM.

Guests attending the Grand Floridian Gala will be treated to a five-course meal featuring dishes inspired by the Grand Floridian restaurant’s most popular entrees through the years. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is introducing a new weekly event called Saturday Night Shine. Every Saturday night, beginning April 7th, guests at this restaurant will be able to enjoy live music, special menu items and specialty drinks from 10:00 PM until closing. It is unknown how long this limited-time event will run, but we'd guess it will at least last through the spring, and perhaps into the summer if it proves to be popular.
