Back in April 2017, it was revealed that Club 33, The "secret" Disneyland dining and drinking club, would be making its way to Walt Disney World sometime that year. However, since that initial announcement last spring, almost nothing has been revealed about what guests could expect from this ultra-exclusive, incredibly upscale (and of course insanely pricey) experience, which seems strange as Disney was originally supposed to have at least one of the four Walt Disney World Club 33 locations open in time for the holiday season.
However, now that it has almost been a year since we first heard about this project, it has been reported that Disney has begun quietly selling Club 33 Memberships to some of its wealthiest customers. Here's what we know so far..
Golden Oak residents are now being approached to be among the first to buy in to Walt Disney World's Club 33
Golden Oak, the ultra-exclusive enclave of multi-million dollar homes on Walt Disney World property, comes with plenty of perks, including complimentary theme park admission, VIP transportation options, and concierge services. And now, another perk for those who call Golden Oak home has been revealed: residents who live in this neighborhood can now be among the first to purchase membership to Walt Disney World's Club 33. And as you might expect, the pricetag is truly staggering.
Guests who want to join this exclusive club will need to pay an upfront fee of $25,000 when they sign their membership contract, and then will need to pay dues of $10,000 per year after that as long as they want to keep their membership with Club 33 in good standing. So what do you get for this insane price?
Those who pony up the cash for this ultimate upcharge will of course get access to the four Club 33 dining and drinking locations around Walt Disney World. However, it has been rumored that in addition, this membership will include several additional perks like complimentary annual passes and tickets for members, as well as an upgraded FastPass+ reservation ability.
Though Walt Disney World has yet to confirm these details, this is pretty much in line with what was rumored last year, and after Disney offers memberships to Golden Oak members, we'd imagine some sort of general announcement will be made in the coming months about how Disney fans can join this ultra-exclusive club.
