This week at Walt Disney World, a new show debuts at Epcot, permits are filed for several high-profile projects, plus Made With Magic gets an upgrade!

Outside Walt Disney World, rumors are again swirling about the future of Nintendo Land, another celebrity is confirmed for A Celebration of Harry Potter, and Busch Gardens Tampa gets a cute new addition!

1. New Coco-inspired show debuts at Epcot's Mexico Pavilion

Though rumors about a Coco overlay for the Gran Fiesta Tour are still unconfirmed, Disney has at least introduced a temporary show inspired by this movie. El Mariachi Coco de Santa Cecilia is playing at this pavilion now through January 6 2018 at the outdoor character meet and greet location on the side of the Mexico pyramid (where Donald Duck usually meets guests). Most days shows are at 11:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:00 PM, 2:15 PM, 3:15 PM, 4:30 PM, and 5:45 PM.

2. All-black MagicBands now available for purchase

During this past Black Friday weekend, Walt Disney World debuted yet another solid MagicBand color, this time jet black. This new MagicBand color will be first released at Disney Springs (to commemorate the "black in Black Friday) before expanding to additional merchandise locations at Walt Disney World beginning early next week. So far this color still isn't available as one of the “standard” MagicBand colors that can be ordered by guests who purchase passes or tickets in advance, but much like the purple MagicBand in 2016, we'd expect this color to eventually be offered through My Disney Experience in the near future for guests to order in advance of a vacation or hotel stay.

In addition to the black MagicBand, Disney also announced that a special limited-edition Christmas MagicBand would be available at Disney Springs beginning this weekend as well.
