Disney Springs has become quite the subject of controversy for the past few years, with some outspoken fans saying this re-imagined shopping district has become too much like an outlet mall and isn’t really keeping with the “spirit” of the former Downtown Disney district any more. However, no matter how you feel about the changing face of this location, in the two years since this shopping district opened, Disney has been making a lot of changes, opening new stores, offering great deals, and even hosting some character-based events.

This month, we take a look at brand new seasonal items not available to eat and drink, a fun fall freebie, plus some new additions coming to this shopping and dining district!

1. Happy hour extended at Jock Lindsey's Hanger Bar

Happy hour at popular Disney Springs watering hole Jock Lindsey's Hanger Bar has been extended, now happening every day from 3:00 PM until 6:30 PM. Not only can guests enjoy special discounts on drinks during this time period, but a special appetizer menu will be available only during this time, and includes fast favorites like nachos, sliders, bacon fries and more.

2. Coach store to open at Disney Springs

Just last month the Vince Camuto store closed at Disney Springs and now we know what is replacing this store: luxury brand Coach. This shop will sell designer handbags, small leather goods, footwear, ready-to-wear, outerwear, watches, weekend and travel accessories, scarves, sunwear, fragrance, jewelry, and related accessories. Though Disney x Coach products will be featured, this store will feature other Coach-branded items as well.

3. More seasonal treats now available for fall

Last month we told you about some seasonal chocolate treats that became available at The Ganachery, and now that fall is in full swing two other Disney Springs locations are offering seasonal treats as well. First up is Vivoli il Gelato, which is offering a number of limited time seasonal specialities like "The Nutty Ghost" sundae & fresh pumpkin gelato.

Next up is D-Luxe Burger, which is offering a Pumpkin milkshake as its seasonal flavor for October.

Finally, in celebration of Oktoberfest, Disney Springs has introduced a limited time the Bratwurst and Spaetzel dish at the B.B. Wolf’s kiosk and a rich Oktoberfest Poutine (made with crumbled bratwurst, cheese curds, and gravy made with stout beer) at The Daily Poutine kiosk.

We are visiting in November.
Looking forward to what you post for next month!
