Summer winding down at Walt Disney World, and though things got off to a blockbuster start this year with the opening of Pandora - The World of Avatar, attendance has softened a little as 2017's tourist season has progressed. However, in an effort to attract some last-minute guests, it looks like Disney has announced a number of new deals that will apply to guests visiting the resort in the next few months.

If you are thinking about going to a Disney park in the near future (and especially if you are planning to stay on-property), here are some easy ways you can save some money right now that you should definitely know about!

1. Annual Passholders get discounted ticket deal

Just two weeks after Disney's 4-Park Magic Ticket offer expired, Disney has brought back a similar offer that allows annual passhodlers to purchase park hopper tickets at a deep discount. Beginning today Walt Disney World Annual Passholders can purchase up to six 1-Day park hopper tickets with the limited-time “Bring-a-Friend” offer for $79 plus tax per ticket, over 50% off the regular admission price as tickets during this time for adults range from $162 – $170 plus tax.

Of course, as with all discounted offers, there are some significant restrictions on these tickets. First off, they are only valid for admission until the end of the summer on September 30, 2017. Annual passholders who purchase them will also need to bring a valid photo ID, and can only use the purchased tickets on the date of sale only.

Still, even with the restrictions, this is a great deal, and if you are planning a trip this summer and haven't bought theme park tickets yet (and know a Walt Disney World annual passholder), you could save some serious money with this summertime offer.

2. Florida residents get free valet and appetizers at signature dining locations

Last week Walt Disney World announced that it is now offering Florida residents who would like to experience signature restaurants a pretty sweet deal which includes a complimentary appetizer with each adult entrée purchased plus free valet parking when they enjoy dinner at the following dining locations
  • Jiko (Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge)
  • Flying Fish (Disney's BoardWalk Resort)
  • Citricos (Disney's Grand Floridian Resort)
  • Artist Point (Disney's Wilderness Lodge)
This special limited-time offer is available beginning August 9th, and lasting through September 30th, 2017, and is only valid for dinner (after 4PM) reservations only. However, even with these restrictions, this is one of the most generous offers we've seen for some of the most expensive restaurants on property, and it is quite rare that Disney would offer this caliber of discount to guests that don't have an annual pass, tables in wonderland, or even theme park tickets. If you are a Florida resident and have never been to these restaurants, now is probably the best time to check one of them out!
