Earlier this year we got the first news about some of the Magic Kingdom's fall events, including Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, including dates for this years' events. However, though it has taken a little bit longer than normal, Disney has finally made tickets for this years' events available for purchase. However, if you're rushing to get your ticket, be prepared for some sticker shock... 

1. This year's longer Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also going to be more expensive

Earlier this year we learned that the 2017 edition of Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party would feature more dates than ever before, as Disney has made the truly unprecedented step of expanding Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party into August (which is still technically summer) for the first time ever. And now we know that this year's party will be more expensive as well, with ticket prices rising between $3 and $10 for most nights. Here's the breakdown for full price tickets: 

  • August 25 and 29 - $82 adult, $77 child
  • September 1, 7, 10, 12, 17, 24 - $82 adult, $77 child
  • September 19, 26 - $88 adult, $83 child
  • September 15, 22, 29 - $88 adult, $83 child
  • October 1 - $88 adult, $83 child
  • October 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26 - $99 adult, $94 child
  • October 6, 13, 20, 27, 29 - $99 adult, $94 child
  • October 31 - $115 adult, $110 child
  • November 1 - $99 adult, $94 child

Though some guests do pay full price at the gate, the majority of guests will purchase tickets in advance, which means the following, reduced price scheme will apply:
  • November 12, 14, 16 - $89 adult, $84 child 
  • November 9 - $94 adult, $89 child
  • November 10, 17, 26, 28 - $95 adult, $90 child
  • December 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17 - $95 adult, $90 child
  • December 8, 15 - $99 adult, $94 child
  • December 19, 21 and 22 - $109 adult, $104 child

As always Disney will also be offering discounts for guests who are DVC Members or annual passholders. The amount of this discount varies by date, but most guests can save between $5 and $15 by purchasing early or having an affiliation. I booked MNSSHP for Sept 26 and I paid $79 plus tax, not $88 as mentioned in your article for that day.
