This week at Walt Disney World, a popular event gets an extension, the demolition of an unpopular attraction you've probably walked by dozens of times at Disney's Hollywood Studios is confirmed, plus one of Disney Springs' best-known watering holes is confirmed to be getting a new, limited time lower-cost menu.

Outside Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort releases a teaser image from its newest attraction coming in 2017, plus SeaWorld confirms the (limited time) return of mimes and Busch Gardens Tampa announces a fun after-hours event.

1. Club Villain gets an extension into 2017

It has been announced that the Club Villain upcharge event at Disney's Hollywood Studios has been extended again beyond the Halloween season and will be offered every Friday and Saturday from now until December 2016. As has been the case in the past, this seperately-ticketed event will have two seatings, one at 5:00 PM and 8:15 PM. After the Christmas holidays, this event will switch to a Fridays-only schedule in January, with the same two seatings available. The price for this event is still $129 per person (last year it was initially offered at $99 per person before a price hike), including tax and gratuity.

2. Front of park pickup option no longer available from Shop Disney Parks app

Though the official Shop Disney Parks app previously allowed guests to order items and pick them up at the front of a theme park, this app has recently updated its shipping options, and this feature is no longer available. Items can still be delivered to a Disney Resort hotel or a private residence.

3. Kali River Rapids removed from Disney's Animal Kingdom's Extra Magic Hours line-up

With the weather around central Florida cooling off, Disney's Animal Kingdom has removed Kali River Rapids from the Extra Magic Hours line-up at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Replacing this attraction are TriceraTop Spin and Primeval Whirl, effective immediately.

4. The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge gets a new name

Effective this Tuesday, The Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will be known by a new name: The Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Over the next few weeks, signs and electronic displays will be updated to reflect this new name.

5. Disney Visa meet and greet moves out of Innoventions

The Disney Visa Cardmember character meet and greet has switched to a new location at Epcot, moving out of the former Innoventions West building and now taking place in the Imagination! pavilion, in what was previously Figment's Place. This relocated meet and greet is still available from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily.
