Though the beginning of fall has already proven to be a great time for budget-conscious consumers to visit Walt Disney World, it looks like the winter will bring even more opportunities for savings-savvy guests to get their Disney fix for less.

From room discounts at some of Disney's best hotels to a surprising dining discount, and even the unexpected extension of a summertime deal, here are all the ways Walt Disney World guests can save same money this holiday season and beyond!

1. New room discount for Disney Visa cardholders

It was announced earlier this week that Disney Visa cardholders are now able to get substantial discounts on just the hotel room portion of a Walt Disney World vacation, which is great for those who are annual passholders or are attending a special event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This offer is valid for hotel stays between December 15-23, 2016, and January 1 to April 8, 2017, and guests will need to book this offer by December 21, 2016. Here are the specifics discounts being offered:

  • Up to 15% off most Value resort rooms
  • Up to 20% off most Moderate resort rooms
  • Up to 25% off most Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort rooms

Offer excludes Villas at Grand Floridian, Bay Lake Tower, Bungalows at Polynesian Bungalows & Villas, Little Mermaid rooms at Art of Animation Resort, campsites and 3-bedroom villas. Guests must make an immediate deposit with a Disney Visa card in order to book this offer.

2. Holiday season room-only discount for regular guests and annual passholders

If you don't have a Disney Visa affiliation, Walt Disney World itself is also offering substantial discounts for stays on the following dates:

  • November 6 and November 10, 2016
  • November 13 and November 22, 2016,
  •  November 26 and December 23, 2016

During this time, regular Walt Disney World guests can save up to 20% off most Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort rooms (10% at Beach Club and Beach Club Villas, Polynesian Village and Polynesian Villas, or Contemporary), up to 15% off most Moderate resort rooms, and up to 10% off most Value resort rooms and campsites.

If you are an annual passholder, you are also eligible for additional room-only discounts during this time, saving up to 30% off most Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort rooms, up to 25% off most Moderate resort rooms and up to 20% off most Value resort rooms

Guests who want to take advantage of this offer will need to move fast though, as it requires guests to book (either online or by phone) by October 8, 2016.

None of these deals are enticing me to visit this year. If Disney wants to boost attendance, drop the ticket price. It's that simple.

Meanwhile DLP hotels and friendly neighbourhotels cut in their rates included breakfasts which Disney said had a value of 15 to 30 dollar depending on the hotel.

I wonder how much they will hurt their sales which this. Europeans tend to be much more budget minded compared to American Travelers.
