In this week's central Florida parks update, Busch Gardens announces a new Valentine’s Day tour, Universal Orlando confirms the final two acts for their Mardi Gras lineup, plus a new transportation option is introduced for the new I-Drive 360 complex, which is set to open in a few short months.

But first, let's have a moment of silence for a beast which is going silent forever on February 1st...

1. Gwazi’s final roar is this weekend

The day is finally here. Gwazi will see its last day of operation tomorrow, Sunday February 1st, before being closed forever. Though we still haven’t heard when (or if) the ride structure will be torn down, if you want to get a last ride in on this classic roller coaster, you have less than 48 hours to get to Busch Gardens Tampa to say goodbye to this long-standing attraction.

2. Busch Gardens announces Valentine’s Day safari

This year Busch Gardens will offer a new tour for those looking to spend Valentine’s Day with their significant other at the park. Valentine Night Safari: Love on the Wild Side is an adult-only experience that starts off with dinner for two at the Crown Colony Restaurant, continues with an educational walking tour through the Edge of Africa and an after-hours safari out into the Serengeti, and then finally tops off with a late-night bonfire complete with drinks and dessert. This new experience is only available February 13th and 14th and will cost $250 per couple.
