Though the Christmas season has been in full swing at Walt Disney World for some time now, many of Disney's on-property hotels have just recently joined in the fun with their annual gingerbread houses, which began popping up this past week at three of Disney's resorts. Disney also unveiled a surprise new queue for one of the Magic Kingdom's most popular attractions as well this past weekend.

Walt Disney World resort gingerbread houses begin appearing
Many resorts at Walt Disney World kick off the holiday season by featuring special larger-than-life gingerbread houses. This year, the Contemporary Resort started things off with its Frozen-inspired gingerbread house, but the Grand Floridian and the Boardwalk quickly followed by erecting their own houses as well. You can check out some photos of the gingerbread houses below, but these culinary wonders are definitely something that should be seen (and smelled) in person if at all possible!
The gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian features several windows with stained-glass style scenes of Disney characters enjoying winter.
The Boardwalk also features a gingerbread house that guests can walk up to and get a sweet gingerbread cone as well.
