If shopping is your favorite part of a trip to Walt Disney World, you'll be happy to find that September brings plenty of new merchandise to the resort.
Many of the new merchandise items revolve around special events taking place around the parks, including Food and Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party, but there are quite a few non-seasonal items in the mix as well.
All of these items are available now at various locations around Walt Disney World!
1. Character mosaic t-shirts
This new collection of t-shirts features a mosaic of puzzle pieces featuring Disney’s most recognizable characters, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy. These shirts can be found all over Walt Disney World, including the Emporium on Main Street as well as World of Disney at Downtown Disney. The shirts come in a variety of sizes and costs $24.95.
2. Glow in the dark neon light t-shirts
Want to be the light of your travel party? These glow in the dark items feature highly stylized logos and characters that give off a retro neon vibe. This collection features both t-shirts and sweatshirts, and items range in price depending on size and product (sweatshirts cost more than tees). These items can currently be found at the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney but will likely be making their way to other merchandise locations soon.
3. The Nightmare Before Christmas plushies
Love the Nightmare Before Christmas? You’ll definitely want to cozy up to these cute little plushies! Jack, Oogie Boogie and Sally (not pictured) have swapped their normal exteriors for cute, chubby plush forms and some adorable expressions. Though the normal rag-doll style plushies can still be found nearby, these new, more stylized toys are simply too cute to pass by!
4. Food and Wine Festival merchandise
Right before you hit the World Showcase and immerse yourself in the 2014 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, you can peruse some of the festival merchandise, either at the Festival Center near the front of the park or at a kiosk set up on the bridge between Future World and World Showcase. This year’s selection of merchandise includes several different t-shirts, housewares, aprons, several limited edition pins and even a limited edition coin for passholders.
5. Park patches trading bag
If you consider yourself a professional pin trader, this bag with dedicated pin trading compartments is an absolute must. This fashionable bag is available at several Disney locations including Pin Traders at Downtown Disney and will set pin fanatics back a cool $54.95.
