Summer may be over, but September is a busy month at Walt Disney World. From annual events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival kicking off this month to merchandise events and more, there is plenty going on at Walt Disney World this time of year.
Make sure you have these events on your calendar so you don't miss a thing this September!
4. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off early this year on September 1. Some big changes are coming to the event this year, so if you’ve skipped the party for a few years, 2014 might be a good one to check it out again. Plus, if you go in September, crowds will be lighter, which means you can experience more of the festivities without having to worry about long lines.
In addition to all the festivities included with admission, Disney has announced a premium Villains’ Sinister Soiree event, which costs $99 (in addition to the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket). This upcharge event includes desserts inside Cinderella’s Royal Table, premium parade viewing areas and special musical entertainment from Lady Tremaine herself inside Cinderella's Royal Table.
3. Night of Joy
Disney’s annual Christian music festival at the Magic Kingdom returns on September 5 and 6 with popular artists like Matthew West, Hillsong United, Casting Crowns and more performing. This separately-priced event costs $59 per night, or $108 for both nights.
