Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

The Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida has reopened, two days after a woman suffered a minor injury while riding it.

Details of the woman's injury are thin on the ground, although it has been widely reported that the incident occurred when a train "came to a stop". After receiving medical attention, she was able to return to the park, suggesting that the injury was very minor in nature.

Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit reopened to guests on Saturday night following an inspection, according to a Universal Orlando Resort spokesperson.

The towering roller coaster allows riders to choose their own on-board musical soundtrack, via LCD touch screens embedded in its trains' lap bars.
