Video: Disneyland offers preview of shows in Fantasy Faire's Royal Theatre

Fantasy Faire

Disneyland has released a new video which offers a glimpse of the shows that will be performed in the Royal Theatre in the new Fantasy Faire area.

With no rides forming part of Fantasy Faire, the focus is on character experiences and live shows. The video, embedded below, introduces the characters of Mr Smythe and Mr Jones, who will help narrate the stories of Beauty and the Beast and Tangled. Both shows will officially debut on March 12, when the entire Fantasy Faire area will open to the public.

Fantasy Faire has replaced the former Carnation Plaza Gardens, and is centered around a mock village square. It offers guests the chance to meet-and-greet Disney princesses including Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Mulan, Belle, Pocohontas, Jasmine, Tiana and Ariel in the Royal Hall. The first guests were allowed into the area on March 5 as part of a "soft opening" period.
