Alton Towers confirms attraction line-up for February half-term 2013 opening

Moshi Quest

Alton Towers has confirmed details of its February half-term events, which will see the park open a limited selection of attractions ahead of the main 2013 season.

The theme park will open from February 16-24, with a range of special Moshi Monsters-themed events being laid on for guests. The park will open from 10am-4pm, with a subset of its rides operating. The Smiler, Alton Towers' new £18 million roller coaster, will not open until May, with the remainder of the surrounding X-Sector area also remaining closed during half-term.

Fans of Moshi Monsters will be able to take part in a special "FANGtastic Moshi Quest" around the park, completing challenges such as collecting magic seeds and locating specific monsters. All six monsters will be on-hand to meet-and-greet guests.
