Video: "A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue" show debuts at Disneyland

Golden Horseshoe Revue

Disneyland has kicked off its Limited Time Magic promotion with the debut of the A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue show, which will run through February 4, 2013.

The Limited Time Magic celebrations will see different special events being held at Disney's US resorts every week during 2013. This will help the company to overcome a lack of major new attractions during the year, as well as drawing in guests for repeat visits. Disneyland's special events have kicked off with the temporary return of the Golden Horseshoe Revue to the Golden Horseshoe Saloon.

The original show was performed in the saloon from Disneyland's opening day in 1955 until October 1986. It featured a variety of Western-themed song and dance numbers, some of which return as part of the new A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue show.

The official video below includes a review of the original show, as well as scenes from its modern equivalent:

The new production will be performed every Thursday through Monday from January 10 - February 4. It is hosted by Miss Lily and the Saloon Girls, and features songs including Hello, Everybody, A Good Man Is Hard to Find, Belly up to the Bar and Can-Can.
