"Legends of Chima" 4D movie to debut at LEGOLAND Windsor in March 2013

LEGO Legends of Chima

LEGOLAND Windsor has confirmed that a new 4D movie, LEGO Legends of Chima, will debut in its Imagination Theatre on March 15, 2013.

The 12-minute animated film will follow the adventures of a group of animal warriors in the fictional world of Chima, as they battle to compete for CHI, a mystical energy force. In addition to 3D animation, the movie will make use of physical effects including the wind, smoke and water effects typical of similar 4D experiences.

Four young animals will feature at the centre of the movie's plot, being guided by Plovar the Parrot as they join a battle between Laval the Lion Prince and Cragger the Crocodile King. After taking guests on a tour of Chima, the movie will climax with a high-speed chase in Speedorz vehicles.

As is usual at LEGOLAND Windsor, guests will be able to purchase a variety of LEGO Chima toys in the park's shops. They will also be able to meet a life-sized version of Laval the Lion Prince, with a 1.2 metre LEGO model standing at the entrance of the Imagination Theatre and a walkabout character making appearances at the park.

LEGOLAND Windsor is planning some major changes for the 2013 season, transforming the existing Duplo Land into Duploville Playland and a small Duplo-themed water park.
