Golden Horseshoe Revue returns to Disneyland as part of "Limited Time Magic"

Golden Horseshoe Revue

Disneyland will bring back the classic Golden Horseshoe Revue show for a short run in January 2013, as part of Disney's "Limited Time Magic" promotion.

The original show was performed in the Golden Horseshoe Saloon from Disneyland's opening day in 1955 until October 1986. It featured a variety of Western-themed song and dance numbers, some of which are expected to return as part of the new A Salute to the Golden Horseshoe Revue show.

The new production will be performed every Thursday through Monday from January 10 - February 4. It will be hosted by Miss Lily and the Saloon Girls, and will feature songs including Hello, Everybody, A Good Man Is Hard to Find, Belly up to the Bar and Can-Can.

The Limited Time Magic celebrations will see different special events being held at Disney's US resorts every week during 2013. This will help the company to overcome a lack of major new attractions during the year, as well as drawing in guests for repeat visits.

Full details and a complete schedule for the the Limited Time Magic celebrations have yet to be revealed, but Disney has offered up some examples. This includes a "True Love" celebration during Valentine's week, "Independence Week" around the Fourth of July, and "Long Lost Friends Week", when lesser-known Disney characters will meet-and-greet guests.
