Busch Gardens Tampa will commence its annual Summer Nights events on June 9, 2012, with guests once again having the chance to experience the park's major rides in the dark.

The events will run through to August 12, ending with the Kinetix dance show and a fireworks display every night at 9pm. Guests will have the chance to view a variety of special shows and entertainment offerings, as well riding roller coasters including Sheikra, Montu and Cheetah Hunt until late.

As it has for the last two years, the Kinetix show will headline the entertainment offerings at Summer Nights 2012, featuring live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world. Performances are held on the stage in Gwazi Park, and feature pyrotechnic effects accompanied by diverse music. For the first time, a fireworks display will follow it every night to cap the proceedings.

New for Summer Nights 2012 is "Let's Get Loud", which will be hosted in the Marrakesh Theater. Described as a "Miami Dance Party", it will see songs from artists including Gloria Estefan, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin performed in a hispanic style.

In addition to the events at Busch Gardens Tampa, the adjacent Adventure Island water park will also host its own Island Nights events. These will take place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from June 14 - August 11, running from 5-9pm. DJs will be on-hand to play dance tunes, while games, street performers, magicians and jugglers will also add to the entertainment line-up.
