In this week's poll, we ask which major new theme park attraction you are most excited about - Transformers: The Ride or Cars Land?
To some, it may seem to have been a long time in coming but Cars Land at Disney California Adventure will throw open its gates to hordes of guests on June 15, 2012. With millions following the progress of Cars Land from planning through to completion, the excitement about the first major expansion to Disneyland's sister park is hotting up.
Cars Land will include a range of rides, retail outlets and restaurants along side $200 million mega-attraction Radiator Springs Racers. Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi's Flying Tires are bound to cause a stir and the street entertainment and ability to actually explore the town of Radiator Springs is surely a dream for any Cars fan.
Undoubtedly, theme park fans in Southern California are being spoilt this year. Not only is Cars Land finally here, but another high-tech wonder is due to open a short drive away at Universal Studios Hollywood. The first riders have already experienced Transformers: The Ride - 3D, getting caught up in a battle between the evil Decepticons and the human-friendly Autobots.
The Transformers attraction is a dark ride of immense proportions, with guests being tossed and turned in their vehicle and surrounded by cutting-edge 3-D Omni-Max screens. Definitely not one for the faint of heart!
So, after careful consideration, which one is the real big-hitter? Are you most excited by the thought of exploring Radiator Springs with Lightning McQueen and Mater, or is a battle to end all battles in Transformers: The Ride more your style? Let us know what you think by voting in our poll below.
