In this week's poll, we ask whether Disneyland Paris needs its own version of the popular Toy Story Mania attraction.
With rumours sparked this week by the CEO of EuroDisney S.C.A. that an interactive attraction based on Toy Story may be wending its way to Disneyland Paris in the not-too-distant future, my instant reaction was to check the expiry date on my passport and begin saving!
For anyone who has experienced Toy Story Mania at Disney California Adventure or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you will understand my excitement. I may be biased, as it is one of my favourite Disney attractions, but it would definitely make my day if a version was to come to the Paris resort (which is easier and cheaper to reach from our UK home).
Toy Story Mania is a "4-D" interactive attraction where you pop on 3D glasses and are then transported around a series of carnival games, featuring well-known characters from the Toy Story films. Plate smashing, dart throwing and ring tossing (to name just a few) have never been so much fun!
The Disneyland Resort Paris opened Toy Story Playland at the Walt Disney Studios park in 2010, which consists of a number of flat rides aimed at a younger audience. Toy Story Mania is an attraction which can be enjoyed by all the family, and would round off the area nicely.
Are you a Toy Story fan? Do you enjoy 4D interactive attractions? If your answer is 'no' to these questions then maybe Toy Story Mania coming to Disneyland Paris is not for you. Perhaps you think the Toy Story brand is getting old, or would prefer to see the resort add to its list of thrill rides?
Would you vote a massive 'YES' to the prospect of Toy Story Mania coming to the Disneyland Resort Paris or should the resort spend its limited funds elsewhere? Let us know what you think by voting in our poll.
