Disneyland Paris has released the first official photo of the new Disney Dreams night-time show, ahead of its March 31, 2012 opening date.
The photo, embedded below, shows off the effects that will illuminate Sleeping Beauty Castle during Disney Dreams performances. A combination of projections, laser effects and powerful water fountains will be used as part of the night-time spectacular, which will borrow elements from the popular Fantasmic! shows at Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Scenes from classic Disney animated movies will be projected onto enormous water screens in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle during Disney Dreams, which will be performed nightly during peak seasons. The opening performance will take place at 10.30pm on March 31, with two further performances expected on April 1.
A new parade, Disney Magic on Parade!, will also debut at the Disneyland Paris on March 26, 2012. It will include a number of all-new floats based around popular Disney movies such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, as well as a spectacular finale featuring Mickey Mouse and friends.
Both new additions have been timed to coincide with Disneyland Paris' 20th anniversary celebrations.
