Chessington World of Adventures will officially debut its new show for the 2012 season, Madagascar Live!, on Friday, March 23.

The show, which features the full name "Dreamworks Magagascar Live! Prepare to Party", will be held in the former Toytown area. This has been overhauled to receive a new African theme, as Chessington World of Adventures celebrates 25 years since its became a theme park.

Madagascar Live! will feature a range of song-and-dance routines, and will star a host of characters from the popular Madagascar movies. This includes Alex, King Julien, Gloria, Mort and the mischievous penguins, all of whom can be seen taking public transport to the park in the publicity images below:

Madagascar Live! will be the only show based on the films in Europe. It will be the only most significant addition to Chessington World of Adventures in 2012, with the park set to open a major new attraction, Safari Trail, in 2013.
