Disney has released a new "point-of-view" video of Radiator Springs Racers, which shows off several sections of the $200 million addition to Disney California Adventure.

Radiator Springs Racers will be the headline ride at Cars Land, the major expansion to Disneyland's sister park that is due to open on June 15, 2012. The attraction, which uses a similar ride system to Test Track at Epcot, is currently undergoing extensive testing, with cars being sent around the circuit seven days a week.

Based around the fictional town of Radiator Springs seen in Pixar's Cars movies, Radiator Springs Racers will also take riders on a tour of the Cadillac Mountain Range. Whereas the vehicles on Test Track "drive" in single-file, Disney California Adventure's new ride will see two cars racing side-by-side. The result of the race will be randomized, ensuring that every ride experience will be slightly different.

Cars Land marks the final phase of a $1.1 billion series of upgrades to Disney California Adventure. The 12-acre addition will feature two other new rides - Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and Luigi's Flying Tires. It will also be home to two new dining locations (Fillmore's Taste In and Flo's V8 Café) and two retail outlets (Ramone's House of Body Art and Sarge's Surplus Hut).
