A widely-reported statement from the CEO of the Disneyland Resort Paris' parent company that Walt Disney Studios will receive two new attractions in 2014 is believed to be inaccurate.
Sceamscape reports that Philippe Gas had in fact only referred to a single new attraction in an interview with Le Figaro, from which the remarks were taken. This would be consistent with previous reports that Disneyland Paris would spend its full €150 million loan from Disney on installing a new dark ride based on Pixar's Ratatouille at Walt Disney Studios.
No other rides have appeared in concept art for the new Parisian area of Toon Studio that will be constructed around the Ratatouille ride. However, a new dining outlet themed around Gusteau's restaurant (a key location in the movie) will be located alongside the attraction.
Construction work on the new ride has already begun, with the Disneyland Resort Paris having received approval from the local Chessy authorities to move forward with the project.
