LEGOLAND Windsor's new hotel is ready to receive its first guests, with the on-site accommodation due to open to the public on Saturday, March 17, 2012.
Featuring 150 LEGO-themed rooms, the Legoland Windsor Hotel has been constructed at a cost of £18.5 million. It offers three types of room, based around pirates, adventurers and kingdoms. Each of these is packed with interactive elements designed to keep children entertained, including exploding toy boxes and LEGO treasure trails.
Alongside the rooms, the hotel is home to a LEGO Pirates-themed swimming pool, a buffet-style restaurant and a lakeside bar. It is situated at the rear of the park on the former site of the Jungle Coaster, which has been relocated to LEGOLAND Florida.
Prices start from £285 during the low season for a themed family room (for 2 adults and 2 children), including breakfast, 2-day tickets for LEGOLAND Windsor and early entry to the park 30 minutes before it opens. This will rise to a minimum of £385 during the peak summer season, although Annual Passholders will be eligible for discounts.
