Walt Disney World has announced that the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure at Epcot will soon receive a new theme based around the Disney Channel's Phineas & Ferb.
The experience, which sees guests using "Kimmunicator" devices to locate clues and track down villains, will be renamed Disney Phineas & Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. The updated interactive mystery tour will be launched in summer 2012.
The plot of the revised adventure will revolve around Agent P, the alter-ego of Perry the Platypus, as he takes on the evil Dr Doofenshmirtz. "Kimmunicators" will still form part of the experience, although they will be known simply as "high-tech secret agent devices".
As with the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure, the game will be designed to keep younger guests entertained during tours of the World Showcase area of Epcot. Clues will be hidden in a number of the area's pavilions, which offer a taste of the culture of a variety of different nations.
Walt Disney World recently opened a second, similar interactive game at the Magic Kingdom. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom challenges players to become apprentice sorcerers for Merlin the magician, before helping him to overcome an army of Disney villains that are threatening the park.
