Italy's Mirabilandia has released a new video of its new ride for 2012, Divertical, which it claims will become the tallest water coaster in the world.
Divertical will hit a top speed of 65 miles per hour following its 180-feet tall-first drop, and will leave riders soaked. After the initial splashdown, the ride's vehicles will continue around a roller coaster-style section. A vertical lift mechanism will be used to reach the top of the first drop, as can be seen in the preview video below:
Mirabilandia is one of Europe's most popular theme parks, and hosts a 25-acre water park alongside its theme park. The park's signature attraction is the Eurowheel, which is the second-tallest Ferris Wheel in Europe at some 300-feet-tall.
