Disneyland Paris Sleeping Beauty Castle

Disneyland Paris is set to begin performances of Disney Magic on Parade! on March 26, 2012, according to reports.

The official premiere of the parade is due to take place several days later, on April 1. However, InsideDLParis claims that it will be "soft opened" from March 26, in order to iron out any kinks ahead of the full opening date. The news will be a bonus for visitors to the Disneyland Resort Paris during the traditionally quiet period ahead of the Easter holidays.

Disney Magic on Parade! will include a number of all-new floats based around popular Disney movies such as Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. The parade will also feature Mickey Mouse and friends in a spectacular finale, and will be accompanied by a new theme tune, dubbed "Magic Everywhere!".

The headline new attraction for 2012 at Disneyland Paris is the Disney Dreams show, which will be hosted in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Featuring pyrotechnics, water effects and projections of classic Disney animated movies, its debut will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the resort.
