Canada's Wonderland has installed the final track piece for its highly-anticipated Leviathan roller coaster, which will make its debut on April 27, 2012.
Leviathan's circuit features a 306-feet-tall lift hill, along with an 80-degree first drop and an overbanked turn that will provide riders with a sense of weightlessness. The final track piece was installed earlier this week, as can be seen in the photos below and in a video posted to the Canada's Wonderland Facebook page.
Construction work on Leviathan's station is ongoing, with the roof expected to be completed during the next week. Extensive landscaping, electrical work and testing is also required ahead of the ride's planned opening date.
Leviathan will become the sixteenth rollercoaster at Canada's Wonderland, placing the park third in the "most coasters at a theme park" charts behind Six Flags Magic Mountain and sister park Cedar Point.
