Alton Towers has revealed the final name for its new ride for 2012 as Nemesis: Sub-Terra, as well as confirming that it will open to the public on March 24, 2012.

The new name was revealed via the ride's official website, which had previously referred to the attraction as "Nemesis: What Lies Beneath?". A new teaser video has also been posted to the site (and is embedded below), which uses a comic book-style to set up the backstory for the new addition.

The video shows a group of explorers in the Forbidden Valley area of Alton Towers, arriving in the Phalanx tank vehicle which was parked outside the Nemesis: Sub-Terra construction site late in 2011. It shows the group being attacked by the Nemesis alien itself, in action which apparently occurred 18 years ago (in the same year that the Nemesis roller coaster was opened).

Nemesis: Sub-Terra will see guests entering into underground "catacombs", where they are also likely to encounter the alien. Manufacturer ABC Rides has confirmed that it is supplying the ride system, fueling rumours that a miniature drop tower similar to Extremis at The London Dungeon is on the cards.

I honestly believe that Adrian Peterson, Arian Foster, Ray Rice,
Marshawn Lynch, or Jamaal Charles should be your focus in the
first round. Most online football managers give
you a team when you sign up and you're stuck with them forever,
no matter how well you do. Among those that came out in the wish list is a better line play, addition of team entrances,
and crowd atmosphere.
